The opening track on Instantiation I is from a far-off, desolate land where many things are different from how they are at home.

Track two on Instantiation I is an improvisational experiment in layers and textures. As with all of the other tracks from this disc, this is a single guitar being played with no overdubs or punch-ins.

The dark and wintery third track from Instantiation I is hardly the type of soundtrack you'd like to have playing whilst walking home late at night.

Based around a few simple recurring riffs, track four on Instantiation I pulls in influences from all over.

A blistering wall of texture, track five on Instantiation I is based around the Locrian mode, a fat, crunchy guitar tone and old bottleneck.

An experiment in quiet simplicity, Instantiation I's sixth track has a cold empty sound.

The final track on Instantiation I is an improvisational piece much like the first in that it's primary goal is to experiment with microtones and microtiming.
