As the liner notes mention, this album is a collection of improvised electric guitar work. It's not just a series of flashy guitar solos played at a thousand notes a minute, but more an attempt to put together a whole piece of music, at times with multiple parts working for and against each other, off the cuff.

To the untrained (that's egomaniac-speak for uninterested) ear, some of the tracks may sound a little repetitive. Valid point, but the intention in many cases was to experiment with subtle changes, high points and anti-climaxes. Track 2, at least in my mind, is a good example of that. This is the sort of place where artists bandy around phrases like complex tapestry of and juxtaposition between.

This album is probably not for everybody, but if you were to ask me, I'd tell you that you'd like it for sure and to buy many copies. I'm a budding capitalist, you see, and once I figure out a way to get you to buy a blank disc, I'll have copies of that made and distributed too. Keep your eye on iTunes for that one.
